Yay, I must be on a roll because another one of my treasuries, also an etteam, has been featured on the front page of Etsy, AGAIN!

Front-Page Feature November 18, 2010

So, as you all know, none of the treasuries that I made during my 30 day blitz actually made it to the FP of Etsy. However, I did finally arrive. Here is the picture of my very first treasury, an etteam treasury, to make it the front page of etsy! Enjoy!

30 Treasuries in 30 days! Day: 1

Day 1:
Well, I am off to a great start! I made my first treasury today called "If a tree falls in the forest..." It was an Etteam Treasury and It made it to the first page of the Etsy Treasury section of the site. This is a great accomplishment, for me, since none of the treasuries I've made thus far have made it to the first page, and remained there. Will give you an update on this treasury's status tomorrow.

Please check it out: "If a tree falls in the forest..."

30 Treasuries in 30 days!

Okay, so I just got this wild idea to make 30 treasuries on  Etsy in 30 days! Each day I will make a new treasury with a new theme. If you have a shop on Etsy, and would like for your items to considered, please go to the Lollyflower Facebook Page, become a fan (Like) and then leave a comment with your link to your shop!

So here are the conditions/vows:
1. I will do my due dillegence to make a complete and competant treasury, with an intersting and relevant theme.
2. I will make at least one treasury a day, and post it to the Lolly chat Blog.
3. No 2 treasuries can be too much alike (ie: can't make one about the color colbalt and then one about saphire!...but can make one about blue and browns and then blues and yellows, for example!).

Wanna take the challenge with me? Join in! leave a comment below with a link to your treasuries for all to read!

This challenge will start on Wednesday September 22 and end Friday October 22th, rain or shine, or tornado (ref: recent hailstorm fea. a tornado in BK/Queens)

GOAL: 1 Front Page feature!

Okay, wish me luck!

View an Etsy Front Page Treasury List - The Vault on Craft Cult

Yes, I have finally arrived! My first FRONT PAGE showing on Etsy was this morning; for my "B is for bat" Shirt for baby! I got over 200 hits and 12 hearts in less than one hour... but alas, only one hour! What a bummer... I though it would be for the whole day! No worries, it was the best hour of my day! Whooo hoooo!

Cool Crochet Finds!

Check out this crazy cap... "The Bearded Beany" by Taraduff: Hand Crocheted Apparel and Accessories

...Who woulda Thunk? I like the idea myself. It is a novel idea; when it is cold one does need to cover the face and head, why not a bearded effect? I see this selling well in the colder states, and Canada of course!..and, for some reason I think they would fit in nicely in Williamsburg, BK????

Nice job, Tara!

What is a wool soaker?

A wool soaker is a diaper covering, usually a pull-on, made of wool.  The function of the Soaker is to do just as the name suggests and "soak up the wetness" from the diaper. Soakers are usually worn overnight.  Lanolizing the wool soaker is very important to prevent leaks. The lanolin provides a film-like protective layer that reduces the flow-through of moisture from the inside of the diaper to the outside. The lanolization process is necessary for the soaker to work properly. The soaker can be worn over a cloth diaper; fitted or pre-fold. The newest trend is to put them over sposies, or disposable diapers.

Everyone can enjoy the wool soaker. It not only protects against leaks, but is a cute alternative to shorts in the warmer weather.  Wool breathes; so it can worn in the summer! Also, Longies, or wool pants, can be worn over cloth diapers. Just make sure you lanolize them first! Longies can be worn year round, but I prefer them in the cooler months!

Look for an upcoming post explaining Lanolin and Lanolizing your wool soakers!

This Is The Spot!

I'm Here. So after doing some Blog-soul searching, and considering the ease  of use, I have decided to move my blogging over to BLOGGER. I thought it would be better to do it now, before it got too confusing! So, with that said... I am here to stay; and off to work on a soaker for a customer!
